Our ‘Vital Skills’ Course run over 2, two hour sessions (also available in a four hour seminar) is designed to give you all the skills you need to feel safer and more confident while going about your day to life. We base it around situations that real people find themselves in and teach you simple, effective techniques that are easy to remember and could make all the difference to you if bad luck meets bad circumstance.
What follows is a summery of our ‘Vital Course’ syllabus but content can be altered according to particular group needs.

We teach you the skills to pick out potential threats which means you can take practical steps in your
everyday life to limit contact with certain people and do all you you can to make sure you don’t find yourself in a potentially dangerous situation with potentially dangerous people.

It’s vital to know what's going on around you in self
protection situations and we teach simple mental exercises that allow you to asses situations quickly and efficiently, alerting you to both dangers and possible advantages early enough for you to take action.

Often referred to as rape alarms these little gadgets are increasing in sophistication, we let you know about what's available on the market and give you advice on what is and isn’t worth carrying. We also have a selection of alarms for purchase.

For when the worst comes to the worst..... The techniques we teach are designed to be effective when used by anyone regardless of size, strength age or experience, they are easy to learn and easy to remember.
We pride our selves on having a “no nonsense” approach that gives you physical protection skills that are simple, east to apply and guaranteed to de effective against a bigger, stronger more aggressive opponent, weather standing or on the ground.

We look at specific threats to Women's personal safety with discussion, safety strategies and advice on:
•Sexual assault
•Date rape
•Car jacking
•Mugging
•Stalking
•Knife crime

We also spend time discussing Domestic Violence which is often an over looked factor on self protection courses even though it is a danger that affects thousands of women. With 1 in 4 reporting being the victims of violence within a relationship. We look at how to recognise the behaviour that can lead to partners becoming abusive and how to plan ‘exit strategies’ to safely and practically remove yourself from dangerous, abusive relationships.
All of our instructors are police checked, highly qualified and insured so you can rest assured that your self protection training is in the best possible hands.
